Writing to the child
For any frontline, child facing workers, this virtual workshop will support practitioners in writing their case notes to the child. This session is designed to help support practitioners to develop their understanding of the language we use and how this can be incorporated into their case recording. There will opportunity to share ideas about what works from our own practice and learn from each other.
Objectives:
- To understand the purpose of case recording and what should be recorded
- To explore the power of language in case recording
- To understand why writing to the child matters
- To practice skills in writing to the child and person-centred case recording
