Spaces still available for ‘A Knock at the Door KS2 Session’ (Mon 14 Sept)

KS2 Resource – A Knock at the Door Session

Children sharing indecent images with one another is a crime and a growing issue for schools across Merseyside. Ariel Trust is therefore launching a new programme to help teachers talk about what the law says and how it can impact upon the lives of children and their families.

At the heart of this programme is a new film, “The knock at the door”. This film features a group of children and their parents and seeks to explore their reactions when the police knock at the door. It was made with parents and children from a primary school in St Helens and reflects the experience of year 6 teachers dealing with this issue as part of a school day.

Using an evidence-based approach this new intervention is designed to improve communication between children, their parents, and their teachers.

There are still spaces available on the next training date – Monday 14th September, 3.30-4.30.
