Revised Wirral School Drug Policy Template Framework for 2026
The revised Wirral Schools Drugs Policy Framework is intended to provide guidance for schools and other educational settings, to support development of a whole setting approach to the drugs agenda within the education sector. The document was developed in response to schools requesting a standardised document, to enable a consistent approach and response to any drug related matters in all primary, secondary, and alternative provisions across Wirral.
This is the fifth year of updates and schools can contact the Wirral Schools Drug Adviser, *Lea Sloan, [email protected] for further advice and guidance on policy, curriculum, or any drug related matters.
The policy is applicable to staff, pupils, governors, parents / carers, external agencies and contains links to relevant national guidance, procedures on the management and response to drug related incidents as well as guidance on the delivery of appropriate drugs education.
