Digital Safety

There are three clear digital safety messages for parents and carers, based on trusted UK guidance

  1. Stay Curious and Involved.  Take an active interest in your child’s online world—ask what they’re doing, who they’re talking to, and explore apps or games together.
  1. Talk Early, Talk Often. Make online safety a regular, open conversation—not a one-off lecture. Discuss privacy, kindness, and what to do if something feels wrong.
  1. Set Boundaries, Build Trust. Agree on clear rules for screen time, privacy settings, and who they can connect with—while explaining the reasons behind them.
