100 Days of Safeguarding – Day 53 – Child of the North Report
A report published on the 7th December 2021 by the N8 Research Partnership and Northern Health Science Alliance (NHSA), and written by over 40 leading academics from across the North of England compares how a wide range of factors affect children living in the North of England to those who live in other areas. The report finds that children in the north are considerably disadvantaged and sets out 18 recommendations to close the widening gap between the North and the rest of England.
