100 Days of Safeguarding – Day 46 – Domestic Abuse Act 2021

The Domestic Abuse Act 2021, which became law earlier this year seeks to strengthen the response to Domestic Abuse and to give additional protections to victims. The Act provides a statutory definition of Domestic Abuse and also explicitly recognises children as victims if they see, hear or otherwise experience the effects of domestic abuse.
