Metro Mayor Event Report – Covid-19

As part of the ‘Youth Voice’ pillar to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s
response to the Covid-19 pandemic in relation to young people, the Metro Mayor
established an event to open a conversation with young people in the region. The
focus of the conversation would be around the issues of young people in the area
as the Covid-19 Pandemic was happening.

Young facilitators from Wirral Youth Voice and Sefton Young Advisors
selected 4 key themes. These were Disability, Employment, Mental Health
and Education. It was identified that Transport and the Environment
impacted in each of these areas and therefore would be discussed
through each of the themes.

214 young people from across the City Region attended the event. Details of the event, the discussions and the outcomes were published in a report which can be accessed below.
