Safer Internet Day Tuesday 7th February 2017

‘Be the Change, unite for a better internet’

Safer internet day is celebrated right around the world, it is a great opportunity to talk to family, friends, colleagues, children and Young People about using the internet safely. The internet is part of our everyday life now and Children start using it from a very young age, technology is great and the internet is a fantastic resource when used in the right way.

As part of the day, UK safer Internet Centre are  delivering a range of exciting activities, from a youth photo campaign and exhibitions, to our #giveasmile social media campaign, while over 1,000 organisations across the UK are getting involved in supporting the day, with schools and youth groups using our Education Packs and SID TV films to engage children, young people, parents and carers.
