Protecting Vulnerable People

The Safeguarding Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) have opened up spaces on their level 3 training to partnership staff. This is a full day event covering the following modules:

Adult abuse.

MCA/DOL’s.

Prevent.

Domestic Violence.

Harmful Practice and FGM.

Child Abuse and CSE.

Safeguarding is everybody’s business and preventing and responding to the abuse of Children and Adults at Risk of Abuse is essential to achieving optimum standards of health, safety and wellbeing.

Safeguarding can only be achieved through effective interagency working and public engagement, ensuring a shared ownership and understanding of both the problems and the solutions across all organisations, professionals and the public.

Please note – due to capacity issues that can arise at WUTH training may sometimes be cancelled.  Can you please contact Learning and Development Team to ensure that training is still being held prior to attendance.
