Safeguarding Adults at Risk
A full day course designed for any frontline staff/practitioners working with adults who may be at risk of serious harm. The event will introduce the basic concepts of recognizing issues of harm and the processes for referral.
- Consider which adults are most at risk and the factors that are likely to increase the risk of harm.
- Explore the different categories of abuse and the potential warning signs associated with each type.
- Understand how to respond appropriately to a concerns about an adult at risk.
- Have more confidence in the referral and safeguarding process.
This event is a multi-agency event so we would respectfully ask that organisations do not book more than 3 members of their teams on one event.
